About the PVSA Program
Aantorik is proud to be an officially approved Certifying Organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA). The PVSA is a prestigious national program that recognizes and honors individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to volunteer service in their communities.
This program acknowledges the vital contributions of volunteers and encourages more people to engage in meaningful service. Awards are given to individuals, families, and groups who complete a certain number of volunteer hours within a 12-month period or for cumulative lifetime service.

Volunteer Eligibility
- Must be a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident (green card holder)
- Must be at least 5 years old
- Volunteers under 15 must be accompanied by a parent
- Must complete eligible service within a 12-month period (for annual awards) or over a lifetime (for Lifetime Achievement Awards)
- This program is currently limited to Aantorik member families
Note: Priority is given to high school students who are approaching college.

Where We Volunteer
Aantorik partners with various organizations to provide meaningful volunteer opportunities that serve our community and help you earn PVSA recognition:
Folsom Community Service
Volunteers work with local schools, community centers, and organizations on diverse service projects including education support, health initiatives, food distribution, and facility maintenance. Past projects include landscaping work at Folsom High School, but opportunities span across various areas such as tutoring students, supporting health fairs, organizing food drives, and assisting with community events.
Sacramento Tree Foundation
Tree planting initiatives with SacTree, a nonprofit organization working to grow thriving communities through stewardship of Sacramento's urban forest.
South Sacramento Christian Center
Food distribution services supporting families, homeless individuals, low-income communities, people with disabilities, immigrants, refugees, veterans, and other vulnerable populations.
Folsom Powerhouse
Volunteer and training program organized by the California State Parks Foundation, dedicated to protecting and preserving the California state park system.
Earth Day Celebration
Annual volunteer event at Prospect Park, organized by the City of Folsom to celebrate and protect our environment.
WeEMBRACE
Basketball programs and virtual summer classes supporting children and adults with different abilities and their families. WeEMBRACE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit for neurodiverse and special needs individuals.
Folsom Library
Teen volunteering opportunities including summer reading programs and library support services.
Aantorik Events
Volunteer at various Aantorik community events including Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja, and other cultural celebrations throughout the year.

To participate in the PVSA program through Aantorik, please send your volunteer registration request to aantorikpvsa@gmail.com.

Registration deadline: January 7th for the current year's program.
